What does your BRAND say about you?
When you fantasize about life and what it could or should have been, what do you dream?
Is it having more money, a flashy car, a huge house, fruitful relationships with friends and family, health, spiritual enlightening, or was it a missed opportunity?
What if I told you that from birth your hearts desires were yours for the taking; would you believe me or call me crazy? It’s true!
Once you look past all the smoke and mirrors of the world and their marketing tactics you will see that what you wanted was right in front of you the whole time. Life is all about choices; the world knows this and of course wants to be chosen. It’s a fact, proven all around you. In your house, on the TV and in the programs you watch, on the radio and in the music you listen to, the brands of food in your kitchen, and outside with billboards, malls, magazines, where you eat out. The world is competing for your time, dollar and spirit.
What brand clothes are you wearing, what brand food do you eat? Most of us are so loyal to our brands, that we wouldn’t consider trying someone or something else. Now take away the smoke and mirrors, all the marketing and all the brands. You are left with a simpler choice…paper (beneficial to your brand) or plastic (not beneficial to your brand).
Everyone has a “brand” it’s your personality, your work ethic, how you interact with people from different walks of life, the quality of your person. Think about your brand, how influenced it is by the marketing tactics of the world? Do you judge people on the cars they drive or the clothes they wear? Are you standoffish to some people but open to others based on appearances? If you answered yes , then they got you, but it is ok they got me too. Through the world’s marketing tactics they have made us judge people of qualities that don’t represent their brand. An example would be a person who shops at Nostrum judging a person who shops a Wal-Mart or the other way around. Both outfits come from sweat shops overseas therefore they should be judging the quality of the material instead of the price tag.
Once you begin to see the world and everything in it as quality instead of the cool marketing ads or popular brands the choice becomes simpler, paper or plastic? When your perspective changes, your outlook on life changes, therefore your choices will change too. It’s no longer about flash and cash; it’s about you and the quality of your brand. If someone or something does not or will not improve your brand then you don’t need it. The choice is that simple, don’t over think it. Whenever a choice is presented the first question that needs to be asked is “How is this beneficial to my brand?” As you begin to ask yourself this question for every choice presented the true journey toward the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness will begin.
